How to change your old photo and Address in Aadhaar Update 2024

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) allows all Aadhaar card holders to update their name, address and date of birth in Aadhaar using a valid supporting document (Aadhaar Update 2024)

No document is required for mobile number, email id, gender, photo or other biometric updates. You need to update your new address in your Aadhaar card. So one has to visit the Aadhaar Enrollment Centers to update the biometric information.

How to change your old photo and address?

Demographic information such as name, address, date of birth / age, gender, mobile number and email address in Aadhaar should be updated online. Aadhaar enrollment centers should be visited to update biometric information such as retinal scans, fingerprints and photographs. There is no need to submit any documents to change the photo in Aadhaar card.

How to Change Address Aadhaar Update 2024 Online?

Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI portal uidai.gov.in and log in to your account.

Step 2: Click on the “My Aadhaar” tab and select “Update Your Aadhaar” from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Click on “Proceed to update Aadhaar”.

Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha verification code then click on “Send OTP”.

Step 5: Enter the OTP you received and click “Login”.

Step 6: Select the demographic details you want to update

Step 7: Click “Submit” after making the necessary changes.

Step 8: Upload the required documents and click on “Submit Update Request”.

Step 9: You will receive an Update Request Number (URN) via SMS to your registered mobile number. Keep this URN for tracking.

How to update old photo through Aadhaar Update 2024?

Step 1: For this you visit your nearest Aadhaar enrollment center.

Step 2: Collect the Aadhaar enrollment form or download it by visiting the UIDAI website.

Step 3: Fill all your relevant details correctly in this form.

Step 4: Then provide the necessary documents along with this form and provide the biometric details.

Step 5: Your photo will be taken by the executive at the Aadhaar center itself.

Step 6: Biometric details need to be provided for approval.

Step 7: A fee of Rs.100 has to be paid for updating biometrics details in Aadhaar.

Step 8: An acknowledgment slip will be provided to you with Update Request Number (URN) mentioned on it.

Step 9: You can check your request status using URN.
