Guest Lecturer Recruitment 2024

The College Education Department has issued a notification for the appointment of guest lecturers for the academic year 2024-25. The application submission will start from tomorrow and September 7 is the last day for application submission. 40,000 will be paid up to UGC prescribed qualification with experience of more than 15 years as Guest Lecturer.

In this regard, the Commissioner of College and Technical Education Department has given information in a press release that in the academic year 2024-25, guest lecturers (including librarians and physical education) will be appointed as per the remaining teaching workload after allocating workload to permanent lecturers in government first class colleges (including government Sanskrit and Art Colleges) under departmental jurisdiction. In relation to selection through online counseling process, the selection process will be conducted as follows.

Online application submission will start from 31-08-2024. Last date to apply is 07-09-2024. Provisional merit list will be published on 08-09-2024. Editing in the application is allowed on September 9 and 10. Work load will be announced on 11th September 2024. Date of Merit List College Selection Counseling is 17-09-2024.

Amount of honorarium

-35,000/- for less than 5 years of service and qualified as prescribed by UGC

• 31,000/- for less than 5 years of service and not having the qualification prescribed by UGC
  38,000/- for those with 5 years and above and less than 10 years of service and qualified as prescribed by UGC
  -34,000/- for those who submitted 5 years and above and less than 10 years and do not possess qualification prescribed by UGC
  -39,000/- for those who have submitted 10 years and above and below 15 years and possess the qualification prescribed by UGC.
  39,000/- for those with 10 years and above and less than 15 years of service and those who do not possess the qualification prescribed by UGC
  40,000/- for those who have completed 15 years of service and above and have qualified as prescribed by UGC.
  36,000/- for those who have served 15 years and above and do not possess the qualification prescribed by UGC
