Age Limit : Minimum age limit for submitting application is 21 years
Maximum age limit for general eligibility is 40 years
Class 2A/2B/3A/3B 43 years

Educational qualification
Candidate should have Master’s degree in relevant subjects with minimum 55 percent or more marks
Candidate should possess BED degree or equivalent degree

Exam pattern

Paper 1 Kannada 150 Marks 3 Hours
Paper 2 Optional Paper I 150 Marks 3 Hrs
Optional Paper II 150 Marks 3 Hours

Paper 1: Kannada is an SSLC level paper and is compulsory in nature. Candidates must score at least 50 marks to qualify for the recruitment. These compulsory Kannada marks will not be considered for preparing the merit list. This subject is only meritorious in nature.

Paper 2: Optional paper marks will be considered for ranking. Optional papers carry negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
