National Testing Agency has released the notification for Joint CSIR UGC NET 2024 June Exam. Those who have passed Master’s Degree in Maths, Science, Science background and other subjects are interested to qualify for the post of Assistant Professor, PhD admission, Junior Research Fellowship, then apply for this exam now. CSIR – UGC NET is a computer based exam and will be held on the following dates.

CSIR – UGC NET Exam Date: June 25, 26, 27, 2024.
Mode of Examination : Computer Based Test (CBT)
Duration of Exam : 180 Minutes (03 Hours)
Exam Pattern : Objective type multiple choice questions exam
Languages ​​of Examination : English, Hindi.

Starting date for receipt of online application: 01-05-2024
Last date for receipt of online application : 21-05-2024
Last date for payment of application fee: 23-05-2024 at 11-50PM.
Application Amendment Window Opening Date : May 25 to 27, 2024

Only one application should be submitted for CSIR – UGC NET Exam. NTA said that you should read and understand the qualifications properly before proceeding to apply.

Eligibility to write CSIR UGC NET Exam
Students who have passed Master’s Degree or are currently pursuing Master’s Degree in Science Department / Mathematics Departments / subjects of the above mentioned examination papers can get registration for the examination. Candidates who secure high marks in this examination and pass can be eligible for Professor/Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship.

Advantages of CSIR UGC NET Qualification
Those selected for the Junior Research Fellowship can take admission for research, apply for posts in universities, are eligible for admission to Assistant Professorships and Research Fellowships in National Laboratories.

How to Get Registration for CSIR UGC NET Exam

  • Visit CSIR UGC NET Exam Registration Portal https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/
  • On the open webpage click on Latest News >> Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2024 : Click Here to Registration /Login’.
  • Another new webpage will open. Click on ‘New Candidate Register Here’.
  • Then give the necessary information asked on the web page that opens.
  • First complete the registration step. Application number, password will be created.
  • Then again click on ‘Apply For Online Registration’ on the home page.
  • Apply by login.

What is CSIR UGC NET 2024 Application Fee?
1100 for general category candidates
Rs.550 for Economically Backward / Other Backward Classes candidates.
Rs.275 for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Application fee for transgender candidates is Rs.275.
Fee exemption for PWD candidates.
Fees can be paid online using net banking, debit card, credit card of all banks.
