Millions of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PMKISAN) are eagerly waiting for the next installment. Here is the information about when central government will deposit the 17th installment of PMKisan to the eligible farmers?, month, date.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier launched the 16th installment of PMKisan scheme. This Rs 2000 subsidy was credited to the farmer’s account in February 2024. Months have passed and farmers are waiting for the next installment.
The money is likely to be released this month
According to sources, it is learned that the 17th installment of PM-Kisan scheme is expected to be released by the central government by the end of May or June. It is also being said that it will be released by the middle of June because of the elections.
There are more than 9 crore farmers across India under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The Prime Minister released Rs 21,000 crore to them in the last installment. The money of the previous 15th installment of the scheme was released by the same Prime Minister on November 15, 2023.
16 installments of Rs.6000 per annum
During the Corona period, the central government had decided to deposit 6,000 rupees annually to the farmers of the country under the PM-KISAN scheme in three installments i.e. once every four months. Accordingly, the central government has made 16 installments so far.
In the months of April-July, August-November and December-March, the money is directly deposited into the farmer’s account. Now the eligible beneficiaries are looking forward to the 17th installment.
Farmers do e-KYC
The bank account of the farmers receiving the installments should be e-Kaivasi. You must be registered for PM Kisan scheme. e-KYC has been made mandatory for those receiving installments from the government. E-KYC is done on PM Kisan portal through OTP sent to registered mobile number, not biometric basis. The Central Agriculture Department has asked the eligible farmers who are not there to visit the nearest CSC centers immediately.
Do this to check name in beneficiary list
Check whether your name is in the 17th list of PM Kisan Yojana. The following procedures should be followed.
- You must first visit PM Kisan official site (www.pmkisan.gov.in) to check the name in the list.
- Select ‘Beneficiary List’ on the home page of PM Kisan website
- Then select your state, district, sub-district, block and village details.
- Select the tab that appears on the screen.
- Then your name will be seen in the list of beneficiaries on the screen.
