Admission to the 6th class for the academic year 2023-24 in residential schools under the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Association will be conducted through an entrance test. Indira Gandhi Residential School.

For the year 2023-24, the required entrance test and online counseling for admission to Class 6 of Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority.

When is the entrance exam?

The Karnataka Examinations Authority will conduct the 6th class entrance examination of the residential schools operating under the Association of Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions for the academic year 2023-24. Entrance Test is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday 12-03-2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM.

How and where is the entrance test conducted?

The entrance examination will be conducted simultaneously at the state level, the candidate is allowed to write the examination at the examination center of the Taluk / District mentioned while applying. As many taluk-wise examination centers as possible will be identified according to the taluk-wise applications received.

How to get admit card?

Candidates who have applied for the entrance test can get the admit card through the residential school they have applied for. Students must carefully read the instructions given in the admit card and appear for the examination at the appropriate examination center on the scheduled date and time.

Entrance Test Procedure

Students seeking admission to class 6 must write the entrance exam. The entrance exam question paper will be of 100 marks multiple choice format. There will be 120 minutes to answer 100 questions of 100 marks. Questions will be asked on Kannada, English, Mathematics, Social Science and General Science subjects. Questions will be asked for 20 marks on each topic.
