The Karnataka Public Service Commission will soon publish the recruitment notification for filling up the vacant posts in various departments of the Government of Karnataka. Online applications are invited for the recruitment of total 2061 (NHK 1666 & 395) vacant posts in various departments including Agriculture Department, Transport Department, Public Works Department, Government of Karnataka. Salary
The basic pay is fixed as per the pay rules of Government of Karnataka. Facilities like DA & HRA will be available separately.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess the qualification prescribed by the recognized institution by the last date of application.
Application Fees:
For General Eligible Candidates : Rs. 600/-
For Category 2A/ 2B/ 3A/ 3B Candidates: Rs. 300/-
For candidates belonging to PA/ PAP/ K1/ Handicapped : Fee Exemption
For ex-serviceman candidates Rs. 50/-
Application fee can be paid at computerized post offices.
Age limit:
Must be at least 18 years & not more than 35 years by the last date of application.
Relaxation in upper age limit:
Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 05 years
Other Hindu Category (OBC) : 03 years
Disabled (PWD): Relaxation of 10 years in their category.
Selection procedure:
A competitive examination is conducted to select the candidates
The competitive exam consists of general paper & specific papers, each paper carrying 100 marks. The exam will be for total 200 marks.
There is negative marking in the exam and one-fourth of marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
