Especially for the empowerment of women and for the health of women, they have also implemented the necessary projects. One of such schemes is Pradhan Mantri Manali Vandana Yojana. Here are the details about who can take advantage of this scheme.
A plan implemented for pregnant women!
Matru Vandana Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 1, 2017. No child born should be born with lack of nutrition, lack of nutrition in the mother but it directly affects the child, so this scheme has been introduced because the child should get proper nutrition while still in the womb.
Under the scheme, pregnant women will be given Rs.6000 free of charge. Six thousand rupees will be given in three installments. Payment is made in two installments before the birth of the child and in one installment after the birth of the child.
Who is eligible for the scheme?
Pregnant women above 19 years can avail this scheme. 5,000 first and 1,000 after the birth of the child. It is the government’s intention that pregnant women should consume nutritious food by getting financial assistance.
The scheme has been extended to the second child as well, a woman who is pregnant with the second child will get Rs 6,000 in one installment.
About 3.11 crore women have benefited from this scheme of Rs 14,103 crore. Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana is successful and pregnant women can contact the nearest Anganwadi teachers or workers or local ASHA workers to avail the benefits of this scheme.
If you give the documents that you are pregnant and also provide the document that you have done a health checkup, you can get free six thousand rupees from the government.
