The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) will conduct a competitive examination for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Group-C) posts in the State Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department (RDWSD Karnataka) (KPSC Recruitment 2022) on December 24 and 25 and the admit card will be available on the Commission’s website. provided on the site.

Recruitment is going on for a total of 136 posts and a notification regarding this recruitment was issued last March.
What will the test be like?
The competitive examination consists of two papers. It is mandatory for candidates to write both papers for recruitment. Each paper will carry a maximum of 100 marks and will be conducted in objective multiple choice mode. Paper-1 is related to General Knowledge while Paper-2 has three sections. They are;
General Kannada-35 marks, General English-35 marks, Computer Knowledge-30 marks.
One and a half hour will be given for paper-1 examination and two hours for paper-2 examination. The syllabus of this exam is provided on the website of the commission. The question paper will be in Kannada and English only. Only those who get 35% marks in this exam are eligible for appointment. Negative evaluation is done in the test. But for each wrong answer one fourth (1/4) of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted.
Candidates must present their admit card and original photo ID (Electoral ID/Aadhaar Card/Driving Licence/PAN Card/Passport/Govt.Employee ID) at the examination center for competitive examination, failing which they will not be allowed to enter the examination center and downloaded identification cards/others. No identity cards/ color xerox copies will be considered, the commission said.
