Social Welfare Department 2022: Application invitation for free pre-examination training conducted by Social Welfare Department
UPSC/KAS/Group C/Banking/SSC/R for Scheduled Castes/ Tribes/ Backward Class and Minority Candidates through Pre-Examination Training Center of Social Welfare Department for the year 2022-23. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for selection for preliminary training of RB and Judicial Services Examinations.
Karnataka Examination for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Backward Class and Minority Candidates for Preliminary Coaching for UPSC / KAS / Group C / Banking / SSC / RRB and Judicial Services Examinations Selection for training is made on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the authority through general admission. Apprenticeship for the said candidates will be credited to the student’s bank account as soon as it is received from the government and the training expenses will be paid to the training institutes.

What should be the age limit:
Candidates within the age limit of minimum 18 to maximum 40 years are eligible to apply.
UPSC:
Candidates who have passed graduation and scored more than 55% marks are eligible to apply.
KAS/Group-C/ Banking/RRB/SSC:
Candidates who have passed graduation and scored more than 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Judicial Service:
Only candidates who have secured more than 45% marks in graduation are eligible to apply.
Selection Method:
Candidates are selected on the basis of marks secured in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
Candidates are allotted to the training institute through online counseling based on the merit of the marks scored in the Common Entrance Test.

As per the government order the stipend will be paid once every three months based on the attendance provided by the training institute. But no accommodation facility will be provided by the department during the training period.

Note:
Pupil stipend for the training period for the selected candidates will be transferred to the student’s bank account at the rate approved by the government every month based on attendance.
Candidate’s family income should be within 5,00 lakhs.
