Karnataka 2nd PUC Result Update News

The secondary PUC tests were held from April 22 to May 18. The results of the Pre University Courses (PUC) Examination conducted by the Karnataka Undergraduate Education Department will be published in the 3rd week of June.

Education Minister BC Nagesh tweeted that the evaluation of the answer papers will start from next week. The Minister of Education has said that PUC exams have already been completed. The secondary PUC tests were held from April 22 to May 18.

The tests were conducted at 1,076 centers across the state. Students were given an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper during this time. A total of 6,84,255 students had registered for the examination. Of these, 3,46,936 are boys and 3,37,319 are girls. There were 6,00,519 regular students, while 61,808 repeaters were registered for the exam. 21,928 were registered as private candidates.

The hijab issue caused great confusion during the test. The government had made it clear that it would not be allowed to write the exam wearing the hijab. Many students came out of the test centers in protest of the government’s directive. Although initially confused, the tests were carried out without any problems. In 2021, due to coronavirus, tests were being conducted.
