UGC NET Notification 2022

The NTA will soon announce the official notification for the UGC NET 2022 exam. Candidates wishing to apply for the exam should visit the official website for more information.

UGC President Mamidla Jagadish Kumar said that the exams will be held in the first or second week of June, together with the exams of December 2021 and June 2022.

Eligibility:

Candidates wishing to take the UGC NET exam must complete a Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized board / institution with a pass percentage of 55%. Candidates who are in the final year of their Master’s Degree and are awaiting the result are also eligible to take this examination.

Age Limit:

Candidates within the maximum age of 31 years can apply for the Junior Research Fellow post. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Disabled, OBC, Women candidates will have age limit. There is no maximum age limit for the examination of Assistant Professor.

Details of Application Fee:

General Candidates 1000 / -, General-Economically Backward / OBC-NCL Candidates 500 / – and Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Disabled Candidates are required to pay the application fee online.

Exam Details:

Testing: Computer-based testing

Total marks for the test: 300

Newspaper: 2 question papers

Duration: Total 3 hours duration

  • Step 2: On the online application submission link available on the home page
  • Step 3: Go to another page. Fill in the information asked there
  • Step 4: Then the submit button
  • Step 5: Take out the printout of the application for the next reference
