Minority Scholarship 2023

The government offers this stipend every year to the gifted students of the minority class who are studying in Higher Secondary in government or private institutions. Apart from traditional courses, many scholarships are offered to students attending 11th and 12th or higher level professional courses. Here is the full information on this.

Who deserves it?

The annual income of their parents who have scored at least 50 per cent in the 10th, 12th or previous exams and whose parents earn Rs. Students who do not exceed are eligible for the scholarship program. The government’s mission is to help children of marginalized economically vulnerable families get an easier education by overcoming barriers to higher education. Income Certificate is compulsory to apply.

How much is the scholarship?

7,000 per annum in the name of admission and tuition fees. Students who are doing technical courses will be given Rs.10,000 per annum. UG and PG students receive an annual salary of Rs 3,000. 380 and Rs 230 per month as maintenance allowance for students in grades 11 and 12 respectively. UG and PG pay Rs. 570 per month and Rs. 1200 is given.

Scholarship Schemes from the Center: –

  • Metric Pre-Scholarship for students in 1st to 10th grade.
  • Post-matric scholarships for students pursuing higher education from 11th standard to PhD in government or accredited private colleges.
  • Merit-Come-Means Scholarship: Scholarship for courses listed in undergraduate, postgraduate, technical and professional courses.

Eligibility for a Matric Pre-Scholarship:-

  • Scholarships are awarded to students from six minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi or Zoroastrian) studying in grades one through tenth.
  • Scholarships are awarded to students who have scored more than 50% in the previous class final exam.
  • The annual income of parents from all sources is Rs. Do not overdo it.
  • One of the SC / ST / OBC / Minority Scholarship Schemes, Omadu is eligible for the scholarship.

Eligibility for Scholarships?

  • Scholarships are awarded to students from six minority communities – Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi (Zoroastrian) studying in grades 11 and 12, including technical and professional courses.
  • Scholarships are awarded to students who have scored more than 50% in the previous class final exam.
  • Annual income of parents / guardians from all sources is Rs 2 lakh. Do not exceed.
  • Any one of the SC / ST / OBC / Minority Scholarship schemes is eligible for the scholarship.

How to apply?

  • Visit the National Scholarship Portal.
  • Click on ‘New Registration’ at the top of the website home page.
  • Read the instructions carefully, scroll to the bottom of the page, check the boxes and click ‘Continue’.
  • Click on the ‘Register’ button.
  • Upload all documents.
  • Click the Submit button
