According to the Jeevan Praman website, “Jeevan Praman uses the Aadhaar platform for biometric authentication of pensioners.

Step-by-step information to register on Jeevan Praman App:

• Step 1: Open Jeevan Praman Application

• Step 2: If you are a new user, register new

• Step 3: Enter Aadhaar Card Number, Bank Account Number, Name, Pension Payment Order (PPO)

• Step 4: Select ‘Send OTP’ to start the validation process.

• Step 5: Enter your OTP.

• Step 6: After you submit the OTP and the validation is successful you get the Praman id

Step-by-step information to create a Digital Life Certificate

• Step 1: Use your new ID, log into the lifetime application and create an OTP.

• Step 2: Click on ‘Jeevan Quantity’ option, fill in your Aadhaar and mobile numbers.

• Step 3: Enter the sent OTP.

• Step 4: Enter the PPO number, pensioner’s name and the issuing agency

• Step 5: Scan the user’s fingerprint or iris and Aadhaar will confirm them.

Annual life certificates or life certificates are now available to users. A confirmation message will also be sent to the registered mobile number.
