PM releases 'Nidhi' for children who lost parents

Millions of people have died in the country due to the corona epidemic. Many children, fathers and mothers were orphaned, creating a profound life. The central government is now planning to support children who have lost parents from Corona.

Prime Minister Modi has decided to provide financial assistance to orphaned children through the Prime Minister’s Assistance Fund (PM Cares).

The victims will receive assistance from the Center today (May 30). As part of the project, between March 11, 2020 and February 28, 2022, PM Care will provide assistance to parents, single parents and children who have lost a father due to Covid. It offers scholarships, Indian medical insurance cards and PM Cares Pass books.

10 lakhs will be deposited in the bank in the name of the affected children till they are 18 years old. Interest earned on a deposit between 18 and 23 years is given as financial aid. After 23 years, ten lakhs of victims will be fully paid. With the process already completed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a financial aid delivery program today. The central government has made the website available for the victims to register their details.
